Grasslands Gallery shows and sells artwork by some of Saskatchewan’s finest artists, focusing on the Grasslands experience. Most artists’ work shown can be shipped by courier. Please contact us about purchasing.

Owner and Saskatchewan artist Laureen Marchand, relocated from Saskatoon, SK where she had her art practice for over 25 years, saw the opportunity to bring artists and art lovers together in the midst of the beautiful Grasslands landscape. Working with a troupe of local artists and interested friends, she has transformed a previously disused space into the bright, open, interesting, and always friendly Grasslands Gallery.

In addition to showing and selling the work of other artists, Laureen Marchand operates her own studio at the gallery.

Val Marie is Gateway to the Grasslands National Park, the first national park of Canada to preserve a portion of the mixed prairie grasslands. The Val Marie region is a land of rolling hills, rugged coulees, and steep ravines centred on the Frenchman River valley, where sky meets prairie at the northern extension of the Great Plains. It is home to wonderful wildlife, fantastic flora, and some of the most fascinating humans and artists found anywhere.
