Cora Macaulay
Cora Macaulay began painting at age 65. Maybe she saw the possibilities of a life with art in her daughter Catherine Macaulay’s work, or maybe daughter inherited from mother. Either way, for nearly 30 years since then, Cora has contributed to Saskatchewan’s art scene her view of the Prairie she loves, and her artwork has been exhibited and collected across Saskatchewan and Canada. While her production is slower now than it was a few years ago, her lovely small oil paintings never last in the gallery very long before they are purchased. After many years on the farm, Cora now lives in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
