Maria Enns/Cecilia Enns Schulz

In the wild hills south of Herbert, Saskatchewan, ranching sisters-in-law Maria Enns and Cecilia Enns Schulz make art that doesn’t require a lot of newly manufactured parts. Most of the paper and fabrics they use are post-consumer materials: fabric they’ve discovered in thrift shops, parts of greeting cards they’ve received, stationary a grandpa found at a garage sale. There’s personality and stories attached to their materials, and they joyfully anticipate your pleasure as these stories continue in your own life.
