Wendy Parsons

Wendy Parsons has worked with clay for over 30 years, developing the knowledge that becomes instinct, and she can make things come out of the kiln that other potters can only imagine. A bucking bronco and the whole rodeo. A kitten with a bucket of straw, part of a complete dairy farm. Woolly sheep and a proud gopher – two unexpected Grasslands companions. Poppy pods ready to fly away, in a background of sunflowers. Wendy’s charming and evocative sculptures are held in many collections, both private and public. Her home studio is located in an old church that says POTTERY on the roof, beside the Trans-Canada highway near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
