Paintings in watercolour can be softly or richly coloured, sweeping or detailed in scope, and as careful or as free as you the artist want to make them. Learn or learn more about the secret of watercolour’s brilliance and the appeal of its watery nature. Basic building blocks of all good paintings will be covered. This session is for beginner and intermediate students. A list of suggested materials with options for purchase will be provided to registrants.
Catherine Macaulay has exhibited nationally and internationally, and her meditative, intently focused watercolours are held in major public and private collections. Living on an acreage just outside Val Marie has brought a new dimension of light to Catherine’s work.
