Val Marie
Val Marie is a village of 137 people located a few kilometers from the Canada/U.S. border in Saskatchewan’s great southwest. In addition to being home of Grasslands Gallery, Val Marie is the Gateway to Grasslands National Park. It offers comfortable accommodations, good food, a friendly grocery store with many specialty items and a wine/beer/spirits vendor, a delightful museum with an espresso bar and gift shop including one of Saskatchewan’s last independent bookstores, a hotel and pub serving good bar food from breakfast to supper, and many other surprises.
